Well, more like trying to decide between 3, all are $5 (eta: oops, Civilization went up to $6.99)
The Settlers is next up. Again, don't own any versions of it for the computer. There is a nifty movie of it - let me find that link.
Gee, that is a lovely LONG link. And has mucked my formating all up. HMPH. I'm going to see if it fixes putting it at the end.
Then there is Civilization: Revolution, there is also a Lite version for that one. Oldest child played that for hours one day. Again, we don't own the computer version of this, it's been on the buy list for awhile though.
Then again, maybe I should skip them all - if the child finds out about them I might never get MY Touch back!
Anyone have any opinions? Right now, The Settlers is the one that appeals the most to me. Don't ask me why, it just does. Of course, I probably won't end up getting it "soon", probably should have decided yesterday and done it. Another thing that is appearing to be cool is that the iPhone OS games are in the $5-10 range, and they are often the same as the $30 DS versions (and some other systems). The Developers aren't exactly pleased with that - BUT, they have the added ability with the $5 range to get more people buying and trying. Which means more money in the long run often. For me, it makes the Touch the much more affordable gaming system for the kids, with the added bonus of no cartridges to loose.....
Of course, my 6 hour stint in the ER last night with the sick child would have been a good time to try them out. Except, she probably would have been irked at me. So we watched TV and I didn't do anything more than really update FB on her status. But it was the perfect chance to play games! LOL!!
OK. Back to pondering and waiting for the pharmacy to open.
